In her current research Katarina investigate how material, techniques and expressions are used in public space through a craft perspective.
She is interested in the layers of urban landscape – how crafts techniques are used to repair and mend; cracks, holes, rips, objects connected by using craft methods – constructions often made as a temporary solution as an addition to the original design, but then by time made permanent. How are these repairs performed and integrated in the urban landscape?”
